Saints Constantine and Helen, also known as Constantine and Helen, Equal-to-the-Apostles and Emperor Constantine and Empress Helen, made early and important contributions to the Christian Church. They are celebrated together because Helen is Constantine's mother.
On October 13, 2002, the Orthodox Church of Antioch reinstituted the annual feast day of the Holy Hieromartyr Jacob of Hamatoura. Saint Jacob struggled in asceticsim durign the fifteenth century at the Holy Monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Lebanon.
